Unlike memoirs how it works today, through electronic circuits are closed or open, new technology, called memristor, will function as synapses in the brain, according to Stan Williams, a researcher at HP, which started working on this project since 1998, CNN reports. HP invented memory works: as electrons move to chip titanium dioxide, the atoms move very little, sometimes no more than a nanometer. These subtle movements recorded data stream changes. New technology could be revolutionary if it works just as some people at HP. According to company officials, the data transmission speed is 100 times faster than with flash memory. The memory uses only a tenth of the energy used by currently used memory. This means, for example, an MP3 player would be charged once for the duration of its life, according to Williams. If everything goes according to plan, HP would be put on sale new memory type in the next three years.
