Why Europeans do not like us? PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 July 2010 14:30

In a short time, a week, three European newspapers - "Der Spiegel", Germany, The Daily Telegraph, Britain, and "Il Giornale, Italy - start (as) to control a virulent attack against Romania and, indirectly, on Moldova. I think the reader will be interesting reading some passages, more representative of the items inserted in those publications.

The first article in this series appears (on Tuesday) on the online page of the magazine "Der Spiegel" and accuses Romanian President Traian Basescu of trying, supposedly to stick "back door" RM "EU economic paradise." From a patriotic spirit, writes newspaper, President Traian Basescu of Romania wants to increase the population accepted that the number of passports granted monthly to reach 10,000 this year. In this way, the EU, already reluctant to extend, expand eastward secretly, without any referendum or an agreement in Brussels, Berlin or Paris. The newspaper, after the AEI came to power in Moldova, Romania has accelerated the "offensive naturalization in the small neighboring state. "Although Romania has been hit hard by the financial crisis this country has generously lent the neighboring state last year. Barbed wire fence at the border was removed and, last autumn, Moldovans who live within a radius of 30 km of the border were able to visit Romania without a visa, "explains" Der Spiegel "... "The new Moldovan government does not preclude advances Romania. Of the 53 members of the coalition government, nine were Romanian passport and another 11 were deposited into one folder. And while the Ghimpu is currently interim president of Moldova, the head of state is a unionist, who are appointed as advocates for the reunification of Romania and Moldova, "notes" Der Spiegel ".

Estonia Helping Moldova Handle Aftermath of Flooding PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 July 2010 14:24
Estonia is sending both technical aid and two crisis experts to help Moldova come to terms with the aftermath of the major flooding that took place there in July. The aid is being financed by the Foreign Ministry and organised by the NPO Mondo.

Foreign Minister Urmas Paet stated that the Prut River rising over its banks has caused tremendous destruction, and thousands of people have had to leave their homes as a result of the flooding. "Moldova sent us an appeal for help in liquidating the effects of the flooding. Estonia decided to answer Moldova's appeal and give the nation aid in handling the aftermath of the floods, thereby helping those who were affected by the floods return to a normal life," said Paet.

The equipment needed will be acquired through Estonian businesses. Five pump kits along with other equipment meant for cleaning out wells and pumping water from basements will be sent as aid. Concrete needs for additional equipment will be evaluated by the experts being sent. The experts will also deliver the aid, give basic training, and analyse the situation, which will give Estonia the opportunity to support Moldova's ability to come to terms with the effects of massive flooding.

Estonia is giving Moldova 857 000 kroons (54 770 EUR) to help the country handle the aftermath of the flooding and to help the victims of the floods. The money was allocated from the Foreign Ministry's budget for development and humanitarian aid.

Wednesday, 21 July 2010 14:17

Russia is going to introduce an embargo on imports of Moldovan wine, if Moldova doesn’t solve its wine production quality problems soon. This is what Russian chief sanitary doctor Genadii Onishechko warned. In his words, if the situation hasn’t changed in two weeks, then Russia will have to ban the import of Moldovan wine. According to the Russian health authorities the wine contains dangerous substances.
Meanwhile, Moldovan Minister of Agriculture and Food Valeriu Cosarciuc denied the Russian claims. He said that the decision made by Rospotrebnadzor, the Russian service of sanitary control, was political, Moldovan newspaper Panorama reads.
Experts warn that a possible ban on imports of Moldovan wine in Russia could lead to an economic catastrophe in Moldova.

The newspaper warns that "Invasion of Moldovan citizens in Europe" PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 July 2010 14:09

"Il Giornale" warns: "Invasion of Moldovan citizens in Europe thanks to passports granted by Romania Traian Basescu!" It seems a real disaster scenario that has clumsily tried to paint in a few days ago an article appeared in the columns "Il Giornale" following two publications of the German weekly "Der Spiegel" and the British Daily Express. "Migrants in disarray", "new incoming hordes of destitute", "miseropoli forgotten" ... the piece is signed by Gian Micalessin a real "borsch", the Moldovan soup, seasoned with many different prejudices and preconceptions about this small former Soviet republic of only 4 million inhabitants. Most likely whoever wrote this "beautiful" painted on Moldova and its citizens, was inspired by the worst disaster to photograph a colossal reality that, on balance, has little real. Probably you ignore what is not an act of propaganda for Moldova, but a fact, that the Interior Ministry and Istat data on crimes committed by foreigners in Italy. Moldovan citizens not only close the ranks of the criminal charges against foreign nationals but, in contrast, are among the virtuous integration in the world ranking in the Italian Job. In the article published by the newspaper "Moldova is defined as a" miseropoli, "a word that offends a nation heavily active, rich culture, history and, above all, good people. The Republic of Moldova is a land of timeless beauty, a beauty not only landscapes but also the people who compose it. A beauty made of diversity, mergers between different cultures and peoples. The Moldovan people are hospitable, cheerful, responsible and above all people who work and who knows how to do well. Moldovan migrants in Italy even think to improve their economic and social situation by attending training courses in many industrial sectors, research development, improvement of their knowledge that not only contributes to the growth of the individual but also to that of a country that as ever at this time is appreciated, supported, encouraged not only by the European Union but also from many, many international bodies. The Moldovan government is doing much to try not to disappoint and to get closer to the standards of neighboring countries. The Republic of Moldova and Moldovans have an opportunity, not a problem for Italy and for the rest of Europe. Then there are foreigners who are fundamental in the economy of a country, among them are undoubtedly tens of thousands of Moldovan domestic workers and carers, with seriousness and professionalism, look after and cared for even in the years ahead our elderly .

What, we're afraid of who?

Discrimination in their own country? PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 20 July 2010 17:09

Here is an article that should make us stop for a moment to realize what is really happening in our little country, both linguistic and social level.

DISCRIMINATION?

I speak as a physician, a patient following questions: "How are you? What you derangează? Since you are sick? ". To which she, after an awkward pause on a high tone, says: "Eto za cyto discriminative?". Trying to find out what is this "discriminative", but our aggression in the eyes and notice the movements and all that it sees only "discrimination", which is that supposed to start the day with "Zdraste!" And it finish with "dosvidania" being considered in their own country, the Soviet system as a stray. I wonder and ask: Why is this happening? The explanation is as difficult, as it is simple - lack of verticality of each of us. I was educated in humility to "starşii arm, which, once entered the house, became a master.

I speak once a tobacconist: "Give me" literature and art, "which she says:" netu. "
How "netu", if you have to face weekly?
I throw him, saying through his teeth: "Tri rubles.
- It is sold in rubles, not lions?
- A Kaka Tebea crazy?

I go in a minibus that is heard loud yells "Kalina Krasnaya, Kalina ...." I ask the driver: "Why sing so loud and even Russian?". I answered: "You do not like, do not listen."
- But it bothers me!
- So what? The other cue, is that they love ...

I try to explain, but I do not want to hear and understand.
Walk the street and read advertising, lettering on the doors of shops, the state institutions - mainly, in the language of the supposedly discriminated against. "
And our young people exclusively, say their parting: "Dava, poka" or "Come on, dava," and other "pearls."
But worst is that this "formula" and hear from students, future professionals, who can not deliver a thought without using words "parasitic". Even the prestigious PRO TV I think most are illiterate and those interviewed "discrimination." Does not exist in this country who speak good Romanian, who know how to properly respond to some questions?
My colleagues in the presence of a Russian speaker, because he does not feel "discriminated", a pass to ignore the language of us, humiliated us in their own country.
The same problem - lack of verticality and national pride. Only in a country with such people is possible Communist revanchism.
The division, in the absence of culture, the lack of national conscience that lies hidden germ contaminates us and eventually will destroy us.
To contend with our own "discrimination" in their own home, revanchism not tolerate any form, to be worthy of the language is ours!

Because we deserve it!
