The truth, the most expensive treasure! PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 05 June 2009 12:59

The truth, the most expensive treasure! Once, our great national poet, Mihai Eminescu, told us with a deep inner pride and without fear: "We are Romanian and punctum. Here, in words so simple truth is hiding a big, broad and deep, which does not refer at once to the national question. To be a Romanian man means to be a sense of duty and responsibility, who knows how to treasure the eternal spiritual values and all creation contained in a pure love. We are not descendants of Rome , with people fallen morally, but descendants of Dacians , an ancient people, if God intentionally placed on a piece of land, of which I never left, between river and Tisza , Northern Carpathians to Eastern Balkans .

Geto-daci

We must respect the memory of ancestors, whose legacy is found among the pearls of our folklore all historical regions, which prints a very specifically our national culture. Romanian language itself (and not Wallachian, Moldavian, etc.. How we teach our enemies foreign) language background comes from the Geto-Dacian Romanization and not only two centuries of southern Romania today.

June 5, World Environment Day PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 04 June 2009 14:45

Salvam planeta World Environmental Day is celebrated on 5 June in more than 100 countries. It was established in 1972 by the United Nations General Assembly celebration pentry Conference " Human Ecology "in Stockholm and is the most important element of the United Nations Environment Programme. Marking World Environment Day is an incentive for people across the earth to act together to preserve the natural heritage for future generations that we have more serious and current viitoare.Cea problem which arises at this stage is warming. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is highest in the last 600,000 years and it increases the pace is accelerating. Climate change is best seen in polar areas: areas frozen for centuries is melting faster than anticipated in the region affecting both people who depend on the environment around them not only food but also to maintain cultural identity, as and animals whose habitat is threatened.

But the problem is not restricted to the Arctic. All regions of the planet are interconnected. Poles affect climate worldwide. As the ice melts the seas and oceans rise, and the inhabitants of islands and towns on the coast is likely to be flooded. Extreme weather events multiply.

Only 2.5% of water on Earth is freshwater and two thirds of it is stored in glaciers and the poles. Their melting reserves arise from freshwater in the future. For one third of world population living in areas affected by drought global warming means increased desertification, food insecurity but also health problems. Therefore we should all care what happens to the ice at the poles,
no matter what side of the planet we are, because earth is a whole.

What can anyone? Read on!
