Moldova to the paradise of Valbona , where every morning the bells of the cows awaken the country ...

L ' APPENNINO EYE EASTERN / begin the chronicles of Carolina. Who now lives up here. "I arrived as a carer to support his family" I had heard was that the mountain was beautiful ... I'm proud to be a mountain "

Carolina Cernautan comes from Chisinau, which with its 780,000 inhabitants is the capital of Moldova or Moldova. Graduated in violin, he courageously confronted life's trials that led to look with great willpower, his America here in the Apennines. We begin today a series of chronicles of this special correspondent, with eyes that are Eastern, will tell the vision of our mountain. To find out how we are seen by those coming from afar. And also to find ourselves in those coming from afar. To welcome the Carolina family Redacon believe, also, on behalf of all readers.
I seem to have lived here all my life. In the morning when I wake up, the first thing I open my window and what I see outside is wonderful. Mount Casarola that every day you change your clothes, is never the same. A foot of the mountain is a village called Valbona (Valle good), I would call "paradise" of the High Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the tranquility, beauty and landscape of which I fell in love at first sight.

They say they know where you are born but do not know where you die. Who would have thought that I would be living in Italy?

They are "rushed" to Castelnovo Mountains four years ago, I knew to say in Italian only, "Good morning" and "thank you" with so many problems behind. I had only one desire: to find America, that is a good job to support my family there in Moldova. After about two weeks I found employment as a caregiver and is with it that I arrived in the mountains, where I had never been in my life. I heard it's beautiful, but I did not expect a 'feeling so great.
It was winter and it had snowed a lot. Everything was white, the plants leaned to the ground by the weight of snow. Going higher up in the streets after each turn-coil opened a new landscape more beautiful than the other. I finally got to Valbona. A small village with about forty people. From the first day I realized of welcome these talented people - always ready to lend a hand as needed - and many workers.

I was fond of the country, the villagers and especially the lady who watched. A lady who had emigrated many years ago, also for work in Switzerland was already in my shoes and knew how I felt. We became friends and helped me learn the language and the best thing yet, taught me to cook dishes Emiliani.
Day to day life here I always liked more, so I started to understand the lifestyle and culture. Very helpful I was also the course of Italian language teacher conducted by Norman Albertini.

Today I am still here. Finally came the spring after a harsh winter, nature has begun to wake up, the fields surrounding the town are now green. Valbona is one of the few agricultural countries remained in the mountains where there are still herds of sheep and herds of cows, and the shepherds and farmers of the country after the mungitura morning send her out to pasture. While crossing the country are the alarm bells for those few who are still in bed. And still the milk is processed at home and make cheese and cheese products, which have retained the flavor of a time. A couple of years has opened a farm where they cook the dishes with the primary product of Valbona.
All these wonderful things convinced me to stay. Now I'm learning a profession: Social Health Operator, for the chance to help people in need with more professionalism and I hope, because I like to live and share the joy with everyone and everywhere.

Moldova but also have become mountain and I am proud of it.
I seem to have lived here all my life.
