On 21 May, International Organization for Migration (IOM) launched the project "Supporting the implementation of migration and development components of the Mobility Partnership EU - Moldova." This project, funded by the EU, has a budget of around 2 million. amount and will be implemented between 2010-2012, is primarily focused on encouraging the return of Moldovan migrants.

The project beneficiaries will be returned migrants and their families at home, diaspora associations, Moldovan citizens working abroad, children and elders, entrepreneurs, those who want to borrow to start or create your own business in Moldova, women and young entrepreneurs, people Diaspora science research community in Moldova, Moldovan professionals, Moldovan graduates of foreign educational institutions and public institutions responsible for managing migration.

The project will focus on four areas of intervention, including increasing the capacities of Moldovan migration flow management through the establishment of the Technical Unit of Migration and Migration Profile, improving communication skills between Moldovan and Moldovan Diaspora consular employees, such REINFORCING relations with diaspora members home country and diaspora associations increased ability to engage actively in the development of Moldova, increased capacity in the implementation of Government programs to promote and facilitate the return and reintegration of Moldovans who work abroad.
