Read the electronic media that the group of experts dealing with amendments to the Constitution, headed by Victor Popa, Moldovan Parliament will propose to move from districts to regions. The purpose of this step is to give autonomy administrative-territorial units. I am agree with this initiative, but I think the name of a region is equivalent to "districts", which reminds of the administrative model over the Russians. Opinion that the geographical configuration of the new administrative-territorial units should be within the former counties, and their name is the "lands", as in the old Moldova. It sounds nice and I have the original: Land Soroca, Balti Land, Land Lapusna, etc. What do you think, dear patriots?
