According to Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Paul Philip, if in Moldova, in each urban district and there are offices of issuing passports, consular offices or diplomatic missions are equipped with necessary equip the perfect biometric passports. "The proposed legislative amendment aims to ensure this transition period - a year - for our citizens abroad, and who can not return home to be documented with electronic passports with biometric data," said Philip.
The minister said that during this period, the Government will ensure documentation with electronic passports to our citizens abroad, including diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Moldova.
