With the support of enthusiastic employees, Google has placed "up" a new online project of digitalization of culture: Art Project. Over 1,000 paintings, famous paintings of 17 major museums around the world have been scanned, digitized, is to reach anyone connected to the Internet. Among the museums whose masterpieces can be viewed digitally are: Uffizi Gallery (Florence), Tretyakov (Moscow), Ermitage (Saint Petersburg), the Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt, Amsterdam), Tate Britain (London), MOMA (Museum of Modern Art, New York), Versailles Palace, National Gallery (London), Van Gogh (Amsterdam), Other Nationalgalerie (Berlin), etc..
