A powerful earthquake of 8.9 on the Richter scale, took place Friday morning in Japan. Initially announced magnitude was 7.9 degrees Richter. Seismic movement was followed by three aftershocks of lesser intensity. One of them, of 7.4 degrees on Richter scale was recorded at 30 minutes from the initial earthquake. According to preliminary information, thousands of people were injured.

American Institute USGS updated several times magnitude earthquake. Clouds of black smoke rose above the harbor in Tokyo and thousands of people took to the streets. Japanese television stations have transmitted images taken by the water machine, with hundreds of people in the streets of Tokyo and employees trying to keep their desktop computers.
The images transmitted by the broadcaster NHK, one of the most affected province is Onahama, where waters have taken hundreds of cars and buildings, fires were recorded.
