The Moldovan police have arrested several members of a gang accused of unlawfully importing 1.8 kilograms of uranium 238 to be sold in Europe. The organization, consisting of seven people, was planning to sell uranium to 9 million euro. Of the gang were also part of two former policemen Moldovan retired. The radioactive substance was kept in a garage of one of those arrested.
