Obesity could be "treated" with a vaccine, which blocks hormones that regulate appetite, a study on mice. Vaccinated animals ate less and they burned calories faster. If such a vaccine would be as effective in humans would revolutionize the market for weight loss pills which have side effects and can not be used long term, say researchers at the University of Porto.
