A king of Persia, trying to choose a good adviser, called the palace one day on five of the most prominent citizens in town and they said:

- Here we have five rings on my fingers, they will be paying your sincerity. Tell me, without flattery, what you say about my strength and magnanimity?

They are amazed by the beauty of the diamond ring and wanted to have them, replied the king with much praise that was due not only to tell God. King seemed satisfied and gave to all four rings. For the 5th silent king urged to his opinion.

- I believe, he said, other than those I have spoken before me. I believe that all power, a king, you have from God and you were given for good people to him and once ruler should give account of how you used it.

- I think so, "the king said with satisfaction.

- But you do not give you the ring, but my trust and friendship. You will always stand beside me as my adviser, for in you I found honest man and friend that I was looking for.

The next day, four coming very hurry to tell the king that the merchant who bought diamond rings false. But the king said:

- What, you think I do not know that diamonds are fake? I praise you gave me, I've just given fake diamonds. We paid equally for what he weep?

Moral: Be honest with others means being honest with yourself.
